Is the Vet Records Vault free to use?
Uploading records, the AI document reader, the per-dog vault, and Smart Health Alerts are included on the free plan. The AI Records Chat, the chat-with-your-records experience, is a Premium feature. You can upgrade any time from inside the app.
What's the vet referral code I keep seeing mentioned?
If your vet clinic participates in our partner program, they can share a short referral code. Entering it inside the vault auto-imports the clinic's contact info into your “My Vets” list and unlocks the Calm at the Clinic course free for you, vet-specific training that helps fearful or anxious dogs cope with handling, exams, and the waiting room. The clinic benefits too: calmer dogs in the exam room, plus a more prepared client who actually gets reminders before refills, boosters, and follow-ups are due instead of forgetting until next year. There's no cost to the clinic.
Who can see my dog's records?
Only you. Records are stored privately under your account and are never shared with other users. AI features run on your own records to answer your own questions; we don't sell or repurpose your vet documents.
What if my vet only sends PDFs or printouts?
Both are fine. Upload PDFs directly, or photograph paper documents, the reader is built for clear phone photos of typed and handwritten records and falls back gracefully when something can't be read.
Does it work with multiple dogs?
Yes. Each dog has their own vault, reminders, and chat context, so a household with two or three dogs stays organized without records bleeding into each other.
Do I need an app store download?
No. The vault opens in any modern browser on your phone, tablet, or computer. Prefer an app? The vault is also included in the Pawprint Academy app for iPhone and Android. Either way, sign in once and your records sync across devices automatically.
